Add-Eco 5505 is Silicon Free defoamer Emulsion. It is Liquid Defoamer based on Mineral Oil and Anionic Surfactant. It is ideally suitable for Chemical Process from neutral pH too high alkalinity.
In addition to destroying foam, Add-Eco 5505 also controls re-generation of foam.
Application & Dose Level:
- Distempers / Water Reducible Primers / Emulsion Paints / Overprint Varnishes - 0.2 to 0.5% is sufficient to Deform. It is advisable to split the addition of Defoamer by adding half of the determined quantity to the Pigment Premix prior to Dispersion. Balance can be added at Let-down Stage
- Cement Admix – 0.3 to 0.8% depending upon Foaming Tendency of Surfactants incorporated
- Adhesives – 2 to 3% recommended based on the total weight of the Latex Solids
- Chemical Processes – Dosage depends on the degree of Foaming

Additive 5118 is Silicon Free defoamer. It is 100% active Liquid Defoamer based on Mineral Oil. It is ideally suitable for Chemical Process of mild Acidic to high alkalinity. In addition to destroying foam, Additive 5118 also controls the re-foaming tendency of the surfactants incorporated in the system.
Application & Dose Level:
- For Emulsion Paint - 0.1 to 0.3% is sufficient to Deform. It is advisable to split the addition of Defoamer by adding half of the determined quantity to the Pigment Premix prior to Dispersion. Balance can be added at Let-down Stage. For Adhesives – 1 to 2% recommended based on the total weight of the Latex Solids.
- For Chemical Processes – Dosage depends on the degree of Foaming.
